TGIF!!!!! It's very much so a Friday but, it's not necessarily a weekend that I am thrilled about.  I have 2 projects due on Monday and Tuesday and a 10 page paper due on Friday...getting ready for Finals is going to be crazy!!!  Please pray for me...after finals I am wayyyy pumped to move into my summer apartment (for free) as I go into my recruiting duties!!! I am also having a great time thinking about my wedding, I am not doing much because I am so busy with class...I am sooooo excited!!!

Well...it has been a crazy past couple of weeks!!!! My life has been changed drastically but in the best way possible, I will be starting a new page of my life with the love of my life!!!  I am soooooo excited about marrying my best friend:) 

Just to keep everybody updated the wedding date is set on December 30, 2006 so all of you are personally invited to my wedding in Childress, TX at Childress Church of Christ!!! (time is tentative at 6p.m.)

Hey!!! since I have gotten the instruction to update I figured that I would do so...

Well I am ENGAGED to the man of my dreams Mr. Tyler Brassfield at 6:00 yesterday!!! I am the future Mrs. Brassfield and sooo extremely excited about it!!!

Well I have to give you inside info so that everything will make sense! When we first started to date I told him to listen to a song titled “Texas Angel”…really sweet love song and it reminded him a lot of me so he always calls me his Texas Angel.  Also he always plays tricks on me and so ever so often he would bend down, looking like he was going to propose, but, would say “Wait…I need to tie my shoe!!!”…needless to say I would always get really irritated and so on and so forth.  Also I knew that he had asked my parents this past weekend while they were up for Spring Sing but, he is getting a custom designer to do my ring so I knew that it would be atleast another month before he proposed…BOY WAS I WRONG!!!

He told me yesterday that he wanted to take me out to eat because I needed a reward for doing so well on Spring Sing and that he would take me ring shopping…I was wayyyyy excitedJ  He started going turning into Hefner Park(I don’t know if that’s correct) but, anyways.  I asked what we were doing and he said that we haven’t went on a picnic since our first date and I thought that is really romantic.  Well he gets me out of the car and afterwards pulls out his guitar and I am like awwwww…he is going to sing a sweet song..(still not getting the drift at ALL) He said that even though he is not in club that he wanted to show me that he can change up the lyrics to songs as well.  We sat on a bench and he starts singing about things throughout our relationship to the tune of “Texas Angel” and at the end of the song says…will you marry me?”…IT STILL DOES NOT REGISTER!!!  I was still thinking O..well this will be really cute when he does it in about a month or so…yes, I am a ditz…did ya’ll expect anything more? Hehe  Then he went to the guitar case and brought out the ring box and got down on one knee and said “Candace …My shoe is NOT untied” Then I started to freak out and cry my eyes out…he opened the ring box and said “WILL YOU MARRY ME?”…I said yes!!!! (after I could compose myself and tyler asked for an official YES…so I squeeled and said YES!!)
